The government outlawed civilian ownership of full auto weapons in 1986. However they grand fathered all weapons owned by civilians at that time. It is legal to transfer ownership of these grand fathered weapons and their price has continued to rise. They are also a barrel of fun to shoot.I believe Class III weapons are a good investment.
